Adams Abba explores personal, social, and political themes through oil, acrylic, charcoal, gouache, and coffee. Using blurry effects and impasto techniques, his textured pieces inspire self-reflection, addressing identity, resilience, and societal issues. His art fosters awareness of humanity’s interconnectedness and responsibility for sustainable change.

Artistic Journey

Starting with realism, Adams evolved into blending realism with contemporary expressionism. A notable work is his portrait of Nigeria’s late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, which combines realism and abstract splatter and blur techniques, reflecting Yar’Adua’s personality, health struggles, and leadership.
